Posting clips and getting paid

How do I earn money?

Join a campaign, post clips to the platforms it allows (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), and submit the links. Most campaigns pay per 1,000 verified views; some pay a flat rate per approved clip. The rate is on every campaign card.

Why do I need to verify my account?

Verification proves the posting account is actually yours — it protects the budget you're earning from. There are two steps: account ownership (place a short code in your bio, we check it automatically) and analytics verification (submit a screenshot of your analytics, reviewed by our team). You can't submit clips until your account is ownership-verified, and payouts require analytics verification.

Start on the Verify page.

When and how do I get paid?

Payouts are sent via PayPal when a campaign settles. Make sure your PayPal email is set in Settings — no PayPal email, no payout.

What's the minimum view requirement?

If a campaign sets one, each clip needs at least that many views to earn — clips below the minimum earn nothing. It's per clip, so one strong clip beats ten weak ones.

What's the payout cap?

Campaigns can cap how much of the budget a single clipper can earn (shown as a max payout on the campaign). It keeps one account from draining the whole budget.

What are bonuses?

Extra money on top of the budget: submission bonuses go to the first clippers to get a clip approved (first come, first served), and leaderboard bonuses go to the top 3 by views at campaign close. Bonuses never count against your payout cap.

What are the campaign rules I need to follow?

Each campaign lists them: minimum clip length, required hashtag, allowed platforms, and any required materials from the Assets tab. Miss a rule (like the hashtag) and the clip gets denied — check before you post.

My clip was denied. Can I appeal?

Yes — appeal from the clip itself. An independent auditor reviews every appeal and can overturn the denial.

What's an invite-only campaign?

Private campaigns don't appear in Discover — the invite link is the only way in. Some public campaigns also require an application; you'll be notified when the creator accepts you.

Running campaigns

How does a campaign work?

You set a budget and a rate (per 1,000 views or flat per clip). Clippers post and submit; views are tracked automatically; you (or your manager) review submissions; payouts happen at settlement. The budget is a hard ceiling — it can't be overspent, and submissions automatically pause as the budget nears exhaustion.

What's the platform fee?

Tiered by budget: 10% under $1k, 8% under $2k, 6% under $3k, 5% at $3k and above. It applies to the budget only — never to bonuses — and is locked in when you create the campaign.

Open joining vs. application only?

Open: any verified clipper joins instantly. Application only: you approve each clipper — useful for hand-picking quality. Heads up: clippers tend to skip campaigns with waiting lines, so only gate joins if you need the control. Either way, only ownership-verified accounts can post.

How do private campaigns work?

Private campaigns are hidden from Discover and profiles — the invite link (getclipd.xyz/join/CODE) is the only way in. If a link leaks, regenerate it from the campaign room and the old one dies instantly.

What goes in the Assets tab?

Everything clippers need to work: content to clip (VODs, videos, streams), logos, socials to tag, and music. Mark an asset Required and clippers must use it.

Can someone run my campaign for me?

Yes — assign a manager from the campaign room. Managers handle review and settlement on your behalf.

How do bonuses work?

Bonuses are a separate pool on top of your budget — submission bonuses reward speed, leaderboard bonuses reward the top 3 performers. They never come out of the view-rate budget and don't count against per-clipper caps.

🤝 Referrals

Earn from people you bring in

How do referrals work?

Everyone gets a personal referral link. Anyone who signs up through it is credited to you — creators earn 5% of a referred creator's first 5 campaign payouts and 1% of a referred clipper's earnings for 6 months; clippers earn 1% of a referred clipper's earnings for 6 months.
